Undergraduate research involvement

Undergraduate research assistants are core members of our team. Through their activities in the lab, undergraduate students get hands on experience with the research process, including data collection, data analysis, idea development, and analyzing academic articles. Throughout their time in the lab, students may choose to develop independent research projects that can be presented at conferences and written up for publication.

We encourage and welcome applications from students of all backgrounds, including students from racial/ethnic minority backgrounds, students with disabilities, and students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

Prospective Phd students

If you are interested in joining the lab as a Ph.D. student, we encourage you to apply! Ph.D. applications are due annually on December 1. You can read more about our Ph.D. program here.

Dr. Robertson is planning to accept a student for entry in Fall 2027.
